At last . . . .

We have now moved into our new home, where we will live for the rest of our lives. It was six years ago that we decided to downsize, and more than a year since we saw and bought a derelict barn close to Leiston’s church. It’s time now to unwind and start work on the April launch of my next book, and perhaps start researching the one that will follow.

The last three years has seen us challenged by the planning system, the conveyancing system, the rising cost of building materials and the joy of sorting out what we need to keep, and what we have not thrown out simply because we had space to store it. Now, apart from having a building plot in Norfolk to sell, all the hassle is behind us and we can start to look forward.

This I think is the moment when life can become really interesting!
