I’ve been writing business books for more than 15 years and have watched the publishing industry become increasingly focused on books likely to sell in large numbers. I’ve been lucky to have been published by some of the biggest imprints and seen my books sell worldwide. But I’ve also seen many promising writers make the mistake of self-publishing with no clear route to market.
In 2013 Thetford Town Council commissioned Robert to lead a project to convert the redundant Charles Burrell High School campus into a community cooperative. The buildings were empty and unused, yet situated in a part of town desperate for community space.
