I met Harry Harris a few years ago. He was an MBA student and I was delivering a session to his group on entrepreneurship. He was taken by my approach and we talked over a coffee afterwards.
Then, after he'd graduated and found himself in an unsatisfying job, we talked again and he now spends time helping develop Swarm Apprenticeships, a social enterprise I founded in 2014. I was delighted to have inspired him and encouraged him just a little to follow his heart, rather than become another corporate man.
More recently, Harry and his wife Sally have set up a website to help others find their true purpose and become 'free range' humans. I was flattered to be invited to tell my story and explain something of the past that has created the man I am today.
Here's what I wrote.
