BroadcastingI worked with film maker Nik Coleman on a six-part series called 'Robert Ashton's Mad About Business' which appeared on SKY171 (MyChannel) from 12th May at 9.30pm. It was a real opportunity to be creative and present some practical pointers for those daunted by the current economic recession. There really are loads of opportunities - you just have to winkle them out. The programme was broadcast for the first time on 1st December on The Business Channel but we looked forward to our new placement in the mainstream entertainment banding. Here is what viewers said about the show: Saw the programme tonight and thought he's a very interesting speaker. Unusual and interesting show, hope he makes some more. Robert spoke to my old company sales conference last year and I'm delighted to see he has his own show - he's as offbeat as I remember him and I hope to see more. Some great pointers in this programme - well worth watching. I watched this with interest last night. Having read a couple of Robert's books I was keen to learn more. He talks a lot of sense. What I like is that his guidance is clear, uncomplicated and tangible. No jargon. I have recently formed my own new business so I shall be watching the rest of the series with interest. Good viewing.
