Social enterprise is fascinating. It is very much the business model of the future, but only if done properly. As rising energy costs and diminishing material resources slowly strangle enterprises solely focused on economic growth, the opportunity for social entrepreneurship grows.

Unfortunately, too many advisers in this emerging sector see profit as a dirty word. The fact is that being profitable gives you choice, your organisation credibility and if you employ disadvantaged people, your team self respect.

 
People usually invite me to help them when they:
  • Want to develop a social enterprise but don’t know how
  • Need help recruiting the right kind of customers
  • Have run out of money and need a quick business fix
  • Would like to find a commercial partner to make life easy
 
My fee structure is simple. You tell me what you can afford and I'll tell you if I think it's enough. Sometimes I can help you get grant funding to pay for my time.
 
Remember that I work fast and prefer short assignments. Also, if your story has potential as a case study in the books I write, I can be quite generous with my time!
